Sequoia Yacht Club Reciprocity

Spinnaker Sailing and Sequoia Yacht Club are building a new relationship within the sailing community.

Spinnaker Sailing Club is happy to announce that starting July 1st 2023, Spinnaker Sailing Club Members will receive an added benefit to their membership, reciprocal privileges to the Sequoia Yacht Club.

Spinnaker Members can enjoy the facilities and onsite services that the Yacht club provides to their members including:

  • Access to the Sequoia Yacht Club
    • Indoor lounge
    • Outdoor patio
    • Restrooms and showers
  • Socials
    • Socialize at the club when a Sequoia Yacht Club member is on site.
    • Purchase drinks and food from the Yacht Club Bar.
    • Join post race activities including dinners and drinks.
  • Cruising

This is a valuable resource for members to enjoy shoreside amenities before and after sailing activities at Spinnaker.

Procedures for Spinnaker Members when at the Sequoia Yacht Club:

  • To gain access to facilities and services:
    • Spinnaker members must present their current membership card
  • Sign in:
    • Spinnaker members must sign in to the yacht club guest book and wear a name tag while on premise.
  • Abide by Sequoia Yacht Club rules:
    • Spinnaker members visiting the yacht club must conduct themselves in a cordial and friendly manner. **
  • Joining Sequoia Yacht Club Cruises and activities:
    • Check with Sequoia Yacht Club for availability. *

*Some activities may only be available on a space available basis due to limited space.

**Having Access to the Yacht Club is a privilege that can be suspended at any time.

The official hours of operation are Saturday and Sunday from 10 – 5, however there are usually members there midweek late in the afternoon and most Wednesdays during the Wednesday Sunset race series.
