Prerequisites: Basic Coastal Cruising (ASA 103)

This course is designed to enhance your confidence and your ability to maneuver and dock a sailboat in a variety of situations. Successful completion of this class earns you the ASA Docking Endorsement certification. A course for up to 3 students interested in gaining theoretical knowledge as well as extensive practical experience maneuvering a diesel inboard powered sailboat under power.

This class has an evening classroom session that is held online over Zoom from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on the Thursday prior to your on the water time which will be a full day of practical experience maneuvering a sailboat from 9:30am to 4:30pm with a break for lunch.

If you took Basic Coastal Cruising before 2006, please schedule a Catalina 27 Qualification.

After this class, you are eligible to take Bareboat Cruising so as to charter boats up to 50 feet.
