You will learn how to find your position anywhere in the world using a few techniques, some tools and simple math. Classes will be held in 6 sessions spanning about two hours each and held online via Zoom. Group classes will meet on the same day weekly and private lessons will meet on a weekly basis on a day of the student’s choice. A minimum of four students is necessary to run the group class.

Students will need to purchase the following materials for this course:

• Celestial Navigation: A Complete Home Study Course, 2nd ed
• The Star Finder Book, 2nd ed
• Starfinder 2102-D
• Basic navigational tools: dividers, parallels, triangles, universal plotting sheets
• Sextant not required
