This course is held over 6 sessions spanning about 1.5 hours on Zoom and teaches you the full ASA 105 Coastal Navigation standard. You will learn how to read charts, plot courses, do danger bearings, running fixes, time, speed and distance problems, set & drift, leeway and more. At the end of the course, you will take the ASA Coastal Navigation test and upon successful completion you will receive your ASA 105 certification. Students will need to obtain their own US 1210TR chart and plotting equipment (parallel rulers & dividers) which can be purchased on Amazon and wherever navigational charts are sold.
