In this online class for both new and frequent users of e-chart applications, Instructor David Pregeant will guide you on how to use “Navionics”, a mobile application for worldwide e-charts and trip planning. He will demonstrate all the app’s features and help you learn how to create waypoints; create routes automatically; use tracks; determine actual depth of water and current speed without the use of Tide Tables; and much more. You will also have the opportunity to practice on the app at home and bring in any followup questions.
The the class will consist of two 1 hour sessions. Students are encouraged to purchase the app prior to the class or download the free two week trial version.
