Basic Level Sailing Classes

BASIC COASTAL CRUISING
COURSE

This 4 day courseis available on both weekdays and weekends. It combines classroom and on the water instruction and builds on the skills learned in Basic Keelboat Sailing. This course includes more advanced sail trim, boat handling skills, safety, seamanship, navigation, anchoring, and much more. Upon successful completion, you receive Basic Coastal Cruising Certification from the ASA and become qualified to charter and sail on your own.
Prerequisite - Basic Keelboat or equivalent experience

Price: $695 / person

BASIC KEELBOAT SAILING 1 & 2

Basic Keelboat Sailing is broken down into two seperate 2 day classes . It incorporates classroom instruction and on the water training to teach you basic sailing fundamentals. This includes familiarization with equipment, set up, sail theory, tacking, jibing, points of sail, motoring, sail trim, safety, teamwork and much more. Upon successful completion of Basic Keelboat 1 & 2 you'll receive Basic Keelboat Certification from the American Sailing Association (ASA).

 Price: Basic Keelboat 1 or 2 - $375.00 ea. if taking seperately or $695 for both
