Celestial Navigation

Spinnaker Sailing is offering a six night Celestial Navigation course beginning January 7. Classes run Wed nights from 7:00pm until 10:00pm and will be taught by our own Leslie Waters. Click on the link above to go to the web page regarding required and optional class materials. A CD with practice questions and supplemental material will also be provided.

The cost of this class, including ASA certification is $345.

Mini cruise to the North Bay
≈ January 23, 24 ≈

We have a two day cruise to the north bay. Possible destinations include Pier 40, Angel Island, Jack London Square... Reservations are required and Club members Save 25% off the boat charter.

All Day Sail to San Francisco
≈ January 9 ≈

We have room for four more people to sail with us to the north bay on Saturday January 9th. We will head north to the central bay and spend the night at either Pier 40 or Jack London Square. The next morning we set sail for the islands and then a nice peaceful sail back home. This is not only a fantastic way to spend the day on the bay, but also a great experience for any aspiring skippers who wish to sail up to the north bay with their own family or crew. 12:30p - 4:30p Afternoon Sail
≈ January 10≈

Sunday the 10th we will be having an afternoon sail out on the South San Francisco Bay from 12:30pm - 4:30pm. This is a great way to get out on the bay and enjoy some beautiful winter sailing. This cruise is open to anyone who wishes to come. The cost is only $65 per person, and Free for Club members. Contact us for availability.

GREAT SAILING VACATIONS FOR 2010!

January Special   - Save $100

If you sign up for the Grenadines trip by January 31, 2010 we will take off $100 per person. Check with our Cruising page for more info on the Grenadines. There is limited space available as we limit our capacity to make plenty of room aboard for comfortable sailing and relaxation. Sign up soon before the early bird discounts are all gone. Croatia

We are now booking cabins for a trip to beautiful Croatia. This jewel is often refered to as "The way the mediteranian used to be." Check with our Cruising page for more info on the Croatia trip. If you think you would like to go contact Bob A one hundred dollar deposit is all that is needed to reserve your spot.

Winter Racing Series

≈ January 17≈

We will be racing Merit 25's on the third Sunday every month from November through April .

If you want to be crew, check out SailMates and see if anyone is looking for crew or announce your availability for a race to any skipper who is short handed. Start time is 1:00pm and you must finish by 4:00pm. Check out last years webpage to see how it works.
