WEDNESDAY NIGHT RACING
≈ Call early ≈

It has been getting a little tight lately with all the last minute reservations for the Wednesday night beercan races.
If you want a boat, please call before Tuesday or it could be likely we will have to give you a Cal 24 or a Santana22.
If you want to be crew, there are sometimes last minute spots available, but when too many racers call on Wednesday, there is a good chance that demand will outstrip supply. We need to arrange for skippers and boats in advance.
Be sure to Sign up early to get your own boat, or be part of a crew. Be here by 5:15pm or earlier to ensure you don't miss the boat. There is a BBQ and drinks afterward at the Sequoia Yacht Club.
The Ten Commandments of Beercan Racing
Latitude 38 published a rather well crafted list of guidelines for maximizing the enjoyment of the ritualistic beercan races. Our very own Mike Quinn put these guidelines in an attractive package and hasnot only received permission to distribute them to anyone who wants a copy, but Latitude 38 is distributing a pdf version on their Wisdom section of their website. Stop by and pick one up in person or download a pdf and print it yourself. You are sure to enjoy it. |
