Situated in Redwood City we are the Southern most Sailing School and Charter base in the San Francisco Bay, making us closest to The Peninsula, San Jose and Silicon Valley. People come from all over the bay area to sail here. The wind conditions are 15-25 knots out of the north-northwest every day in the summer, beginning around noon and diminishing near sunset. The weather is warm with an average summer temp between 70F-80F making for very comfortable sailing most every day. Water temperature is around 63 F. And for traffic, since we are the southmost sailing destination on the bay, the traffic is very light and often you will be one of the few boats on the water at any given time. The area is full of wildlife refuges and salt marshes making for a pleasant country sailing ambience. All this together makes Redwood City one of the best places to sail in the world.
