Qualifications

• Certified ASA Instructor for- Small Boat Sailing, Basic Keelboat Sailing, Basic Coastal Cruising, Bareboat Charter, Coastal Navigation, Celestial Navigation, Advanced Coastal Cruising

• ASA Instructor Evaluator

• USCG Master 100 Ton license

• PADI Master Scuba Diver

• FCC Amateur Extra radio operator license

• FAA Commercial pilot license

Leslie learned how to sail at Spinnaker Sailing in 1987, and began teaching there in 1990. He has taught classes in more than a dozen different sailing locations around the World. Before retirement, he was a software engineer. He enjoys taking people sailing in the Bay, and up and down the Coast. He participated in the 2001 Baja-Ha-Ha, and delivered a boat from Vancouver to San Francisco, and another from Hawaii to Vancouver. He is still single : )
