I am a very experienced captain and sailing instructor with over 60,000 sea miles logged as captain, mostly in the challenging waters of Northern Europe and the Atlantic. I have safely delivered a variety of vessels ranging from small sailboats to a seventy five foot trawler and have a lot of experience with upwind, offshore, difficult passages. I am reliable and safe and I love what I do.

I love the sea. I love celestial navigation and developing a timely and efficient passage plan that works for everyone; the owner the crew and me.

I hold the prestigious Royal Yachting Association Yachtmaster license issued by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency in the United Kingdom. I am also licensed by the US Coast Guard.
