Fun for the WHOLE family!
Every year we gather here at the Spinnaker Sailing Clubhouse at about noon and settle in for an entire day of sailing, eating and fireworks.  Bring your own crew or sign up to go with other club members and sail with new friends. The Barbeques get set up and lit at about 5pm. The grills, coals, paper plates, plasticware and napkins are provided by Spinnaker Sailing, and you are welcome to bring whatever food you wish to cook, your own beverages, and ice.

The fireworks begin at around 8:30pm, but get here WAY before that as the police close off the road coming into the marina as soon as all the parking spaces are full.

The Coast Guard also closes down the channel at around 5pm so if you are planning a sail, you need to be back at your birth before 5pm. If not, you could be forced to stay out of the channel until after the fireworks are finished. Although this can sound like fun, If your boat does not have the correct lights for night navigation, then the Coast Guard will be here to give you your appropriate tickets as well.
