Santana 22 class
The santana 22 is by far one of the most beloved sailing boats ever made. This boat was designed to replace the venerable Cal 20 and started a new craze immediately upon introduction. This boat is extremely popular amongst both daysailors and racers alike and is avidly raced as a one design in many areas of the United States, especially here in the San Francisco Bay where it was designed by a Bay Area boat architect and built by a bay area boatwright. Both safe and fun there is a good reason why we not only teach on these boats, but charter and race them as well.
