How do you coordinate flights with Boat departure dates and times?

Easy, first get your sailing dates and work backwards from when you need to be at your destination to pick up the boat. Often, if you are travelling a long distance it is wise to get a hotel room the night before, and the night at the end of the trip. These hotel accomodations are often included in our group trips.

Can I go diving on my sailing vacation? You sure can. Often there are places that have dive boats that can take you to popular diving destinations. Sometimes a dive boat can come and pick you up and drop you off on your own boat at anchor. Call me for details.
What kind of money should I bring?cash? American? Should I exchange it before I leave? Where do I do this?, etc. . . Depending on your destination there are many opportunities to change money. Travelers checks are great when you don't want to carry a lot of cash around with you, and you can use them in many shops and reastaurants as well as your visa, mastercard and American Express. Cash is often needed for moorings, slip fees, and other local services as well as small craft vendors. Airports and Banks are the best places to get this currency.
We need to order drinking water. We will use the tank water for taking showers and washing dishes, but we want gallons of drinking water for drinking. I need to decide between BVI spring water and Poland spring water. Do you know how they treat the BVI and if it is safe? It is cheaper than Poland but is it safe and taste ok? Any advice? The BVI spring water is fine. I always order it for my boat. Advise everyone to keep a personal water bottle on hand to refill from the gallon jugs. These can be as simple as the bottles of water purchased earlier in the trip. (It's handy when each person has a different kind of water bottle or brand to help each person keep track of his/her own water.)
How many gallons of drinking water per person per day would you advise?

A quart/person/day is usually enough. (People will be consuming other beverages, too.) There are opportunities to buy more water and other supplies along the way if you run low.
